IllumineX, a non-custodial and private cross-chain wallet, has launched native Bitcoin privacy solution that operates without mixers. “This launch aims to address the significant privacy challenges facing crypto users today.”

The company noted in a press release exclusively shared with Cryptonews that the privacy-focused, compliant crypto wallet supports EVM and non-EVM chains.

“IllumineX offers a comprehensive solution that empowers users to reclaim their privacy,” the release said.

The platform leverages the advanced confidential compute capabilities of the Oasis Saphire platform. By doing so, IllumineX breaks the public link between source and destination addresses, ensuring a more secure experience for users.

As a result, users can securely manage their sensitive financial information while engaging in various on-chain activities.

IllumineX first launched its mainnet on Sapphire in February 2024.

Liza Yudina, Founder and CEO of IllumineX noted that the transparent nature of public blockchains has hindered widespread crypto adoption.

“Crypto users have long been faced with the reality that their transactions and assets are publicly visible, creating barriers to the safe and private use of digital currencies.”

The launch of IllumineX is “set to change the landscape of privacy in blockchain technology,” said Will Wendt, Head of Ecosystem at Oasis Network.

IllumineX’s Sustainable Key Privacy Features

The platform offers privacy for every asset, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, enabling private storage, sending, and swapping. Additionally, it plans to support several non-EVM blockchains, such as Solana and Tron.

Further, IllumineX supports gasless transactions, simplifying the user experience with on-chain privacy. Besides, users can swap from their private balance using swap aggregation for the best pricing.

The platform comes with an improved AML process that flags malicious wallets.

The IllumineX team is planning for expansion with possible integration with platforms, including Solana, Tron, and Dash. “This will facilitate the integration of the private wallet into various applications, broadening its reach across multiple ecosystems,” the release read.
